Last week we were honored to find out one of the walls we designed at ESPN's new cafeteria was noticed by the parent's of Lacey Holsworth, the determined and wonderful little girl who passed away last year from a cancer called neuroblastoma.
The photo we used on the wall is of Lacey and her hero, Michigan State basketball player, Adrien Payne cutting down the net after the Spartans won the Big Ten tournament. She's wearing the championship hat she received with the rest of the team.
We chose this image for the ESPN wall advocating the power of sports because Lacey and her bond with Adrien is a powerful, heartbreaking, and true story of how sports and the people who play and watch them, can affect so many hearts and create awareness for many charitable causes.
Throughout the design development of this project we were able to learn more about Lacey and are honored to have the opportunity to share the story of this little princess with more people through our work.

Thank you @ESPN for this beautiful tribute to our daughter. We are honored and feel immense gratitude knowing that she has not been forgotten. Thank you for sharing her memory with the world and reminding us all that kindness, unconditional love and a sweet smile can change a life. #lovelikelacey
